Mersal Makes It Into Rs 200 Cr Club:- Ilayathalapathy Vijay tested his luck with his next outing Mersal and the movie has been declared as a blockbuster all over. Directed by Atlee, the movie is all about health mafia in the country and Vijay uttered some words about GST and its impact in the country which did not go well with the BJP leaders. The film landed into a series of controversies which helped the film perform well than expected. Leaving everyone in surprise, Mersal grossed Rs 200 crores across the globe in just 12 days.

Mersal is said to be the third biggest hit of Vijay till date and the film is still running with packed houses across Tamil Nadu. Samantha, Kajal and Nithya Menen are the female leads in the movie and AR Rahman is the music composer. The movie is expected to leave the makers and buyers in hefty profits. Sri Thenandal Films produced the movie.
