Fidaa Inspired From Pawan Kalyan:- Sensible filmmaker Sekhar Kammula did not take much time to impress the Telugu audience. Right from Dollar Dreams, all his films Anand, Godavari, Happy Days and Leader were hard hitting and commercially successful. After he got a prominent place among the list of directors, Sekhar Kammula could not continue his magic. His films Life Is Beautiful and Anamika suffered badly and they have been declared as debacles. The ace director took a long break and penned a cute love story and named it Fidaa. The movie is all about the love story of a NRI guy and a Telangana girl.

The movie as Sekhar Kammula revealed ended up as a massive hit all over and is racing towards Rs 40 crore mark. During his recent interaction, Sekhar Kammula revealed many interesting things about the film. He said “I penned the script considering Pawan Kalyan in mind. But I never narrated it to him. I met Mahesh Babu couple of times but I did not discuss about the entire script. It was Dil Raju who decided to produce the movie and we had plans of working together from a long time. He suggested Varuntej for the movie. We had to wait for Sai Pallavi for a long time as she was busy with her studies. After the cast has been finalized, special workshops have been conducted for Fidaa”.

Sekhar Kammula revealed that he planned packed schedules and stepped out with a bound script. Shakthi Kanth composed the music which was a smashing hit all over. Dil Raju bankrolled Fidaa which has been shot in Banswada and USA. Sai Pallavi’s performance along with her dialogue diction have been widely accepted across the Telugu speaking states. The movie is all set to collect 2 million USD in its full run in USA alone. Fidaa has been a smashing hit all over and it is running with packed houses in its third week.
