Rajnikanth, Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 Gets A Release Date?:- Are you a fan of the Tamil Super Star Rajinikanth aka Thalaivaa? If yes, then get ready to be delighted as we have some awesome news in store for you.
According to a leading channel, Rajnikanth’s eagerly-awaited ‘2.0’ is likely to hit screens on January 25, 2018. If this is indeed the case, then the sci-fi thriller is likely to do good business on Republic Day. This could go a long way in helping it become a big blockbuster in the long run.
In case you did not know, ‘2.0’ is a sequel to the movie Enthiran, that was released in 2010 and is being directed by S Shankar. In it, Rajini will be seen re-enacting the much loved Chitti character from the first part. Besides him, the film also features Amy Jackson in the lead while Bollywood star Akshay Kumar plays the antagonist.
Last year, the first look posters of the film were released, which created quite a buzz in the industry. In the posters, Akshay was seen in a totally scary new avatar. Moreover, some stills from ‘2.0’ went viral recently and lifted the curiosity levels even more. In them, Rajinikanth was seen trying to prevent a truck from falling over while Amy was seen in a Robot suit.
On a related note, this seems to be a busy time for the Tamil superstar. Besides ‘2.0’, he has ‘Kaala’ in his kitty. It is a mob-drama and features him in the role of a don. It is being directed by ‘Kabali’ director Pa Rajinth and also features Huma Qureshi in the lead.
