Rajamouli’s Epic Movie Baahubali Faces Criticism From Legendary Actor

Tollywood’s most successful film director, Rajamouli’s epic movie, Baahubali has faced criticism.

The film has garnered immense attention of many Tollywood people and Telugu film lovers. They even referred to the director’s masterpiece, as their pride of Tollywood.

Though the film had created a sensation throughout the nation for its grandeur and story telling method, it even has critics, who found fault with the perception of 'Baahubali' being called the pride of the film industry.

One such among the critic, is the famous legendary Telugu actor, Kaikala Satyanarayana.

Kaikala, said, “What is so great about the film, and will it be called a great film, if the director does such a one, with huge sets and graphics.”

“We used to call them tricks, now they call it as Graphics,” added the Legendary actor.

The actor further questioned, “Does Baahubali has any story?” “What is the use of ‘Baahubali’ to society”? Is there any message in the film?

Kaikala Satyanarayana felt that in a society like ours, where people are suffering, and to waste crores for the sake of grandeur is unnecessary.

The veteran actor, even went on to say that with a Rs 500 Cr budget, spent in making the Baahubali movie, about 500 films could have been made.

'We have seen all that grandeur very long ago in Hollywood. Wasting crores of money and attracting people with graphics will not make a film great,' he added.

The money they spent on the sets and the graphics is pure waste and compared Baahubali, to the ‘Bichagadu’ movie, how it did good business, in spite of the fact that it was made with a limited budget.

Previously, veteran actress Jamuna too expressed similar views, some time ago.

The reason for the veterans to have such contrasting opinions on such big budget movie, could only be the generation gap.

The movie is mostly liked by all the individuals of this generation.
