If reports are to be believed, Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor will reportedly be seen making her Bollywood debut soon.

A report in Super Cinema said that Karan Johar has roped in Jhanvi opposite Varun Dhawan in 'Shiddat'.

While previous reports had said that Varun will pair up with Alia Bhatt for the film, but not the latest buzz says that it is Jhanvi who will share screen space with the actor.

Jhanvi already has a decent fan base due to her social media presence and there has been much speculation about her movie debut.

The report also said that the film will go on the floors from mid-2017. However, there has not been any official confirmation on the casting of the movie that will be directed by Abhishek Varma.

Earlier, it was reported that the movie will have Alia and Arjun Kapoor along with Varun. Previously titled as Kalank, Shiddat will also reportedly have Madhuri Dixit Nene, playing the character of a mother of the female lead.

Reports had also claimed that Arjun was not sure about the project as he felt that Varun's role was more powerful than his and he would be overshadowed in the film. Nevertheless, Karan Johar is known for launching young talents and only will tell if he indeed launches Jhanvi in the film.
