Pawan Kalyan tributes Amithab Bachchan

He himself being a huge super star in Tollywood, Pawan Kalyan several times said that, he is the fan of Amithab Bachchan, right from his childhood.

In fact, his film, ‘Gabbar Singh’, was a character name inspired from Big B’s path breaking film ‘Sholay’.

While in Gabbar Singh, Pawan payed tribute to his favorite star, by showing a scene from Sholay and few posters, now, in his latest film, Sardaar Gabbar Singh, the Power Star again expressed his love on Bachchanji, by showing Mr. Natwarlal movie posters.

Talking about his obsession with Bachchan in his growing up days, the actor says, “I love Amitabh Bachchan and am mad about him. I would pick up fights for him. I met him when I was in the eighth grade in school. He was shooting for 'Mahaan'. My elder brother, Chiranjeevi was also shooting a film for the same producers. And that's how I landed the opportunity to meet my idol in person.”

“I can still feel the coldness of his hand. That is an experience I have stored in my heart and mind,” Pawan Kalyan adds.

Sources say, decades later, when both Pawan Kalyan and Amithab Bachchan, once again met at the Tirupati shrine, “Both of them were obviously there to seek Lord Balaji's blessings. And, of course, Pawan wanted Bachchan to do the darshan first.”
