My father’s statue over there - DSP

Music sensation,  Devi Sri Prasad announced to erect his father Satyamurthy’s statue in Rajahmundry.

It is known that, well known writer and DSP’s father, Satyamurthy has passed away recently. But saying that, his father does not like postponing the work, DSP took no time to join music sittings of Nannaku Prematho.

Jr NTR and entire movie team, accredited DSP for his dedication towards the work. Nannaku Prematho audio launch raised emotional tears for many, after DSP cried on the stage.

Not only that, after Satyamurthy’s death, DSP many times, expressed in public, about his love and respect on his father. As a tribute to him, DSP even dedicated a special song, which went viral.

Not stopping there, with the intention of giving another memorable tribute to his father, DSP has announced to erect Mr. Satyamurthy’s statue in Vedurupaka, Rajahmundry, which is his father’s native place.

DSP after death formalities

DSP and singer Sagar recently participated in the ‘after death’ formalities and speaking on the occasion, DSP said, “Dad likes his native place, Vedurupaka (East Godavari district) a lot and that is the reason for building a big house in the name of Suryodayam, with the combination of his parents names - Surya Narayana, Udaya Bhaskara.”

“By May 24th, which is my father’s birthday, a statue would be erected in the village. On the same day, even few social events would also be conducted,” Devi added.
