Rajinikanth is known worldwide for his immense popularity. Fortunately even Radhika Apte is very popular, however for other reasons.

May be that popularity made the makers of Rajinikanth new film, drop her into the movie. Rajini has currently signed a film, which will be directed by director Ranjith. In this particular movie, there is no scope for the  heroine role as the story of the movie revolves around the gangsters. So Radhika Apte will be seen as one of the gangsters in a manly getup.

Reacting to the issue, Radhika Apte said, "I need some time to sink in. I don't think there is anybody bigger than Rajini sir. And the director, Pa Ranjith, is exceptionally good. So I was extremely thrilled that it has worked out. And I am super excited to finally meet Rajinikanth."

Currently, Radhika is identified as a bold heroine in Bollywood for choosing bold characters. Especially after Radhika's nude video hit the internet, she has become an overnight star and further kept up her image, accepting bold movies like Hunterrr.

On the other hand, Radhika Apte might not be offered any other Telugu movie, as she seriously abused the Telugu film industry, saying that it is a male dominated one. So Balayya’s Lion is almost her last film in Tollywood.
