Dil Raju bags Mani Ratnam's film

Popular producer Dil Raju has bought the Telugu distribution rights of director Mani Ratnam's upcoming movie titled 'Ok Bangaram' which has Nitya Menen and Dulquer Salmaan. The film is being made in Tamil as 'Ok Kanmani' and will be dubbed in Telugu. Director Mani Ratnam has been delivering consistent flops at box office and so little extra care about this film.

Interestingly, the hero of the film, Dulquer Salmaan is the son of Malayalam actor Mammooty who shot to fame with 'Bangalore Days.'  The shooting of the film neared completion and is expected to release for this Summer. Music maestro AR Rahman is scoring movie and PC Sreeram is handling the camera.

Dil Raju earlier distributed Mani Ratnam's 'Amrutha' which was a disaster and reportedly lost huge money with that film. Wish Dil Raju and Mani Ratnam ended up with a good and decent hit this time.
