Director VV Vinayak is the confirmed director for the much awaited Akkineni Akhil debut. There were lot of rumours in the industry but most reliable sources say, Vinayak will introduce Akhil and there won't any second thoughts in it. The pre-production work of this ambitious project is underway and soon we might expect the official announcement.

Vinayak was successful in launching producer Bellamkonda Suresh's son Sai Sreenivas and we know the result of the movie. Nagarjuna will produce the movie while the selection of cast is going. Now all eyes are the female lead of the film as who will romance with this charming star.

Akhil's debut film will be announced in Vijayawada in a grand hush-hush event.
