Evergreen beauty Sridevi's name has been making rounds in Kollywood for wrong reasons. Rumours say that Sridevi has been roped for the female lead role in the remake of Malayalam Drishyam movie. However the director of the film Jeethu Joseph has clarified that they haven't finalized any heroine so far.

Jeethu who helmed the original Malayalam version, will also direct the Tamil version which will have Universal Hero Kamal Haasan as male lead. The movie was launched recently but got a halt from the Court in regards to some issue. Bollywood producer Ekta Kapoor has filed a petition that she has bought the rights to remake the film.

However, the issue is heard to be getting a solution soon as mediators have been negotiating. As per the sources, the shooting of the film will begin shortly and currently the search for female lead is on.
