Actress Simran is all set to don in a new avatar. The once upon a time top actress of the South India will croon for the first time in upcoming Tamil comedy 'Kathai Thiraikkadhai Vasanam Iyakkam.'

Actor turned director R Parthiepan is wielding megaphone for this project which will feature many new comers. But Parthiepan has roped many top leagues actors of Kollywood for cameo in this film.

Vikram, Shimbu, Vishal, Surya, Dhanush will be in guest roles while heroines Amala Paul, Andrea and Nayantara will also feature in cameos.

Well, Simran's second innings hasn't been fruitful and we hope she makes good impression as a playback singer.
