South India's top director Shankar's next project Ai (Manoharudu in Telugu) is in the final stages of shooting. Recently a huge climax episode of film has been canned in Vizag and parts of Orissa and with this almost 90 percent of the shooting has been wrapped up. Vikram and Amy Jackson are playing the lead roles while Malayalam actor Suresh Gopu and model Upen Patel will be seen in key roles.

This is Shankar's second film with Vikram after Aparichitudu. AR Rahman is scoring music and PC Sreeramis handling the Cinematography. The movie is slated for release on April 14th as a summer bonaza.
