Samantha sizzled in her first movie with Naga Chaitanya "Yem Maya Chesave". She was so cute in the movie that it made youth miss a heartbeat. She made it with her superb acting and facial beauty without resorting to any skin show. Nagachaitanya also acted very well in the movie. We can see the same pair in two movies to come.
“Autonagar Surya” which is long pending due to many problems in the film unit ultimately is going to see the light of the day. The remaing patch works are being done to release it on 19th December. The movie is directed by Dev Katta and produced by K.Achi Reddy under the banner of Max India. Anup Rubens scored music for the film.
Another one is Akkineni’s three generations movie ‘Manam’ being made under Annapurna Studios banner.
But we will find a lot of difference in Autonagar Surya’s Samantha and Manam’s Samantha as years passed to leave marks in a person even if one is a cute heroine like Samantha.
