During the audio launch of Toofan, Charan was vocal about his awe for Venkatesh. Despite having grown up watching the senior actor as his dad's rival, Charan has become close to Venky. At the audio launch function, he called Venkatesh as his Anna several times and thanked him for his support.

Next came the announcement of a multi-starrer with his Anna. However, his Anna will not be his big brother in the film, but his uncle. The film will reportedly feature Venkatesh as Charan's dad's brother. So Charan become Venky's nephew. Incidentally, Venkatesh's real life nephew Rana is Charan's best friend.

Another interesting update is the possible casting for Charan's real life Uncle, Naga Babu, as his dad in the movie. Chiranjeevi's brother is reportedly being considered for the role which was initially meant for superstar Krishna. As Krishna has declined from acting in any more films, Naga Babu may take that place. This multistarrer is scheduled to roll on floors in November.
