Taran Adarsh gives more AD success figures

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh is impressed with the performance of Attarintiki Daredi. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's monopoly at the box office last Friday has ensured stupendous openings and a hands-wide-open kind of a reception despite piracy issues. Today, the analyst gave more updates about AD's success figures.

“Telugu film AttarintikiDaredi UAE *till Monday* $ 123,000 [₹ 77 lacs],” he shared on Twitter. AD Day 4 figures stand like this - Nizam: ₹ 1.44 cr, Ceded: ₹ 55 lacs, Vizag: ₹ 49 lacs, Guntur: ₹ 28.3 lacs, Krishna: ₹ 29 lacs, East: ₹ 28 lacs, West: 25 lacs, Nellore: ₹ 15 lacs.

“Total: ₹ 3.73 cr, Grand total - 4 day share - ₹ 25.93 cr.” Taran Adarsh reported. “AD has created History in USA, smashing all previous records and setting new ones. Features in Top 15 grossers this weekend.”

He also shared that Nayathara and Arya's Tamil film Raja Rani is making solid progress. Meanwhile, the hype on Ranbir Kapoor's Besharam appears to have lost its air. In Taran Adarsh's opinion Besharam, “Proves the adage 'All that glitters is not gold' absolutely right. Huge disappointment.”

So, Attarintiki Daredi continues to impress all. Though Raja Rani can be considered a decent competition, AD is still riding its success wave. There is just one disappointment on the piracy front. Apparently, availability of high quality pirated content in preventing viewers from visiting AD theaters again. Second and third time viewership took a hit this week.
