A few days back, the first teaser of Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan was released. Rajini's popularity and iconic status has been proven once again with the response to the video. If you're disappointed that Deepika Padukone was missing from the first teaser, the next one is guaranteed to show plenty of shots with the princess.
The first teaser had reportedly generated nearly 10 Lakh hits before 2 days and after 3 days, the hits rose to 16 Lakhs. One line that generated quite a lot of buzz is, “there are heroes, there are superheroes, but there is only one Rajinikanth,” at which point Rajini the warrior makes his grand entry.
Kochadaiiyaan is India's first motion capture technology film on the lines of the Polar Express and Tintin. Rajinikanth's daughter is making her directorial debut with this film, which depicts the exploits of Kochadaiyaan Ranadhiran, an 8th century Pandiya King.
Soundarya Rajjinikanth tweeted that the next teaser will focus on the beauty of princess Vadhana Devi, played by Deepika Padukone. Deepika will have a smooth entry into Tamil, Malyalam and Telugu cinema as her portrayal of a South Indian girl in Chennai Express was received very well.
Vikrama Simha, the film in Telugu, will release on the 62 year old Rajinikanth's birthday on 12th December.
