Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has been in damage control mode after several films backfired. Considered one of the most bankable actors in Tollywood, Ravi Teja's flops came as surprise to not only the industry, but the actor himself. Hence, he is exercising restraint with signing new movies.

While new projects are being scrutinized keenly, one of his next films is rolling on the floors soon. Ravi Teja will join the cast and crew of an as yet untitled film under the direction of Bobby, a newcomer who recently created the script for the actor's recent hit Balupu.

Director and producer YVS Chowdary will produce the film as part of the  Bommarillu banner. The producer had earlier worked with Ravi Teja for 'Nippu', which bombed at the box office. The duo are hoping they will score a hit this time round. Shooting will begin by the end of September.

Ravi Teja is also rumored to be declining advances for new films for fear of a bad script. It remains to be seen how the actor will chose his scripts henceforth.
