Celebrity interviews are commonplace before the release of any movie. However, this interview has a twist. Masala stars Venkatesh and Ram have to prepare for a  very tough Viva, just like students do for their exams. Harsha Chemudu of 'Viva short film' fame will take up the grilling.

Masala's promotion is a refreshing change from the usual overdose of advertisements. This innovative concept has been taken up after the Viva short film went viral on Youtube and Facebook. The interviewer, Harsha, takes up a hilarious viva for several students who have no clue about the subject.

With Venky and Ram, lets hope they fare a little better than those hapless students who were taken for a funny ride. Masala, similarly, promises to take audiences for a funny ride with its comedy and entertainment.

The much awaited video, which will see Harsha grilling Venky and Ram, will be uploaded to youtube soon. This video will kick start the film's promotional activities. Directed by Vijay Bhaskar, the film also stars Anjali and Shazhan Padamsee.

Anjali and Venkatesh are heading off to Japan next week for a picturesque song shooting. However, there is still no news on Masala's audio release.
