In the next three weeks, two heroines will battle it out at the box office. Shruti Hassan need not prove herself, but competition is threatening to makes things difficult for the sexy actress. This competition is none other than the slim and demure looking Samantha.
Both Shruti and Samantha have a good run at the box office until now. And yet, what would happen if they fight side by side? It is said that Samantha is waiting to see how Shruti will fare after Yevadu releases on 31st July. You see, Shruti was not the first choice for her role in Yevadu. It was Samantha.
For reasons not clarified, Samantha was ousted from the film with Charan, citing creative reasons. Sam is eagerly biding her time to find out how creative the role has turned out. Silently, Shruti is signing projects with all major heroes in Tollywood.
Even before the release of Balupu, Shruti was signed on with Jr. NTR. She has now acted with all the popular actors except the very dashing prince Mahesh. Recent talk is that, Mahesh Babu and Shruti have been confirmed for a film together under the direction of Shiva. Incidentally, she was the first choice for Mahesh's business man, but went on to act in Power star Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar singh. We all know how that fared.
What about Sam, one might say. Well, Samantha has the next movie with the charming Pawan. Attarintiki Daredi will hit theaters a week after Yevadu. These three weeks seem like nothing less than a battlefield for Shruti and Samantha.
