The Vidya Balan we know from the beginning of her career was a calm, quirky and traditional girl who could fill in the roles of emotional girls with easy. There was always an element of beauty to her acting rather the erotic, and romantic feelings. Her choice was always limited to movies that would be certified for everyone. But all tables were turned when she made the choice to play the Indian vamp character, Silk Smitha in Dirty Picture.

While her bold moves have pleased several critics and fans, several others were not happy with the choice of such audacity on the fringe of arrogance. The question today in front of us is whether this actress who has been adept with her item role as a vamp in the movie will fit into the shoes of the legendary singer, M S Subbalaxmi? The sister of the singer, reportedly, would be played by Deepika Padukone. Originally, Aishwarya Rai was chosen to be on the list for the singer's role but Balan was finalized for the movie.

A section of people have already started to exhibit their rage that it was a disgrace for such actresses to play the role of the highly revered singer. It is only a matter of time before the women organizations rush into these protests and create chaos.
