Young 'Rebel' star Prabhas who had disheartened his fans in his last venture is all set to rejuvenate them with his sensational film 'Mirchi'. The crew have finally planned to release the film on February 08, a day later than announced earlier. In this film where writer Koratala Siva turns into a filmmaker, Prabhas is to portray a totally different homely character. He shares the screen space with glam doll Anushka Shetty and homely Richa Gangopadhyay.

'Mirchi' fits the action packed family entertainer genre. Both these qualities are never to go together, however Siva's fresh appeal could rein in the best for the star. This film is produced by Prabhas brother Pramod who joins with Vamsi Krishna Reddy for the project. Fans expected that the film would hit around the Sankranti but it got delayed with an usual excuse that some post productions works were pending.

However after a dud in 'Rebel', the crew did not want to take a chance with a possible clash with multi starer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalli Chettu and Ram Charan's Naayak in the race, claim filmy pundits.

'Mirchi' has wrapped up the expectations with the audio turning out into a super hit. Devi Sri Prasad does the tracks for the film which are a rage among youth, ever since the launch.  

'Mirchi' also boasts of  strong star cast that includes (comedian Brahmanandam, veteran actors Nadiya and Sathyaraj, donning prominent roles. Wishesh AarKay)
