Hiccups to universal star's Vishwaroopam

Uncertainty is looming large for Kamal Haasan, who's all set to roll out his much prestigious project, Vishwaroopam on January 11 across the globe. Being an international movie, Kamal has so much expectations from this movie and so is the situation with many of film critics and film enthusiasts. And it's known that Kamal even entered into a deal with DTH companies for releasing the premier of this movie on DTH platforms on January 10th night.

Nonetheless, Tamil Nadu theatres owners have become like a pain in the neck to Kamal Haasan. They raised objects over Kamal's move of releasing the movie on DTH and released a fatwa that they refrain themselves from screening this movie at theatres. Nonetheless, Kamal Haasan was absolutely okay with the anguish of the theatre owners as he recently told to media that there would be naughty kids in the family and one has only bear and treat them sweetly. But then what apparently irked Kama Haasan was threatening calls. Yes, this universal actor started receiving threatening calls from miscreants stating that power supply to cinema theatres would be halted (to those theatres that screen his Vishwaroopam) and his movie would be pirated.

Upset with the series of calls, Kamal Haasan has approached the police in Chennai and ensured that a case was booked against the miscreants. The investigation into these threatening calls was underway, said police sources. Anyway, let us hope that Kamal doesn't face any more hiccups in his effort to show his Vishwaroopam (universal image).
