Damarukam movie is undoubtedly playing with people. First the movie was scheduled for a grand released in October. For some reasons, the movie got postponed to November 9 and from then it again postponed to 10th. This entire postponement issue itself pushed Damarukam into spot light for wrong reasons. Actor Nagarjuna then plunged into the action after his fans attacked several theatres for postponement of his movie.

Nagarjuna termed that they (film unit of Damarukam) need blessings of Lord Shiva and hoped that the movie would be released in another week. And news has been doing rounds that Damarukam would be released on November 23 since then. But it looks like Damarukam movie would not be released now also. Sources said that the release date of Damarukam was pushed to December 3. Film critics said chain of postponements damaged the film's image.
