Remember Kokila by Balu Mahendra, ace director and cinematographer who ruled our hearts for some time. Yes, then you should also remember the actor he introduced Mohan, in that film. Mohan was synonymous for romantic love tales and had mastered the art. Be it Udaya Geetham or Mouna Ragam he was awesome and credit worthy. His films ran to packed houses and he was an youth icon. The actor who made a sudden vanishing act suddenly emerged back to announce his reentry.

And this time he is back with a bang, Mohan is said to embark as a trilingual producer for a flick which will have different cast and crew pertaining to the language. Sources reveal that the star is also planning to take up a prominent role in the film. This film is to be a remake of the Malayalam Super hit film, 'Beautiful.'

Basically born to Kannada parents the actor was sensational in Tamil. However he acted in Kannada films, Telugu films and Malayalam films. But he played a major part in Kollywood, where he acted in more than 80 films.  At a point of time he posed to be threat to Dr Kamal Haasan who was also carrying the same image around that time in the eighties. But later Kamal emerged out of the lover boy status and exposed his versatility. Amidst all this Mohan was sailing on top, but suddenly vanished and thank god he is back with a bang.
