The name's Bond, James Bond

It has been 50 years since your favorite detective agent, has been first aired on the big screen, with the first one being Dr.No in 1962. Even after 23 films, we can never get enough of the action, gadgets and the chick-magnet star. Celebrating the Global James Bond Day, we present to you all the six Bonds and the movies in which they starred.

Bond #1: Sean Connery: The Ultimate Badass of Bonds
Unanimously chosen to be the best of the Bond, whilst reaffirming that the maxim “Old is Gold”, Sean Connery was the person who has given James Bond, the picture in your mind today. The sloppy cigarette in his mouth makes the dialogue, “The name's Bond, James Bond” even better.

The first Bond starred in seven films throughout his life, and five consecutively. His Bond streak was once interrupted by George Lazenby for a movie in 1969. All films were great hits commercially.

Though he played agent 007 only once, his attitude in the movie has brought a dramatic change in how people viewed Bond. The younger physique of the Bond was greatly accepted in his movie On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, making it undoubtedly one of the best films in the series.

Ian Fleming, the author of the original story of Bond has imagine a serious and a dark Bond who always had energy left for one last mission. Humor out, Gravity in; enter Timothy Dalton. The Bond who matched the description of James Bond who loved to live on the edge.

Bond #5: Pierce Brosnan, The vulnerable Bond
Albert R Broccoli discovered Brosnan by chance in a movie set in which his wife was working at that time. He had signed up for the movie but due to troubles with an earlier contract for the role of Remington Steele, another handsome detective he had to delay his promotion to 007 status.

Brosnan who should have debuted back in 1986 was held up by MTM due to his contract till 1995 when the greatest hit of the Bond movies had made its way to the screen. Extremely handsome Bond has brought back Bond to life with Golden Eye.

Bond #6: Daniel Craig: The Bond now!
Several actors were being chosen for the highly acclaimed role of 007 after the 4th optional contract of Pierce Brosnan had ended with Die Another Day in 2002 and the crowd were aching for another move, Daniel Craig was the one who had been selected in 2005.
