A complaint by cine financier Yyjayanthi reddy revealed the connections between Tollywood producer Singanamala Ramesh and suspected killer of the faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri.

Yyjayanthi reddy lodged a police complaint that Singanamala Ramesh took Rs.7.2 Cr from him in 2008 pledging his land at Maheswaram in Rangareddy district near Hyderabad but did not return the amount as per his promise. When he began pressing for his amount back, Ramesh promised to register the land in his name, the complaint said.

As Ramesh failed to register the land in his name, Yyjayanthi reddy questioned him strongly but Ramesh along with Bhanu Kiran threatened him with dire consequences in 2009 if he continued to ask for return of the amount or even for the registration. “They threatened to kidnap my family members and I have kept quiet after that,” he said in his complaint.

Yyjayanthi reddy preferred to lodge a complaint now as police have been on the lookout for Bhanu Kiran. Sources said police will act on the complaint of the financier and question the producer Ramesh. Ramesh suffered heavy losses with his film ‘Puli’ featuring Pawan Kalyan in 2009.
