India beat Pak in Qtrs: Under 19 World Cup

Team India Juniors seem to have mastered the art, while overpowering India's arch rival Pakistan in the quarter finals match at Tony Ireland Stadium in Townsville, Australia, on Monday. The Indo-Pak encounter for the quarter final was won by the Indians. Chasing a total of 137 runs India beat their rivals, inspite of fortunes swinging on both sides.

Earlier Pakistan  won the toss and elected to bat, but was on a disastrous start. Pakistan upcoming Skipper Babbar Azam (50), Umar Waheed (27) and Tailender Ehsan Adil (35) made a decent display which fetched the team 136 all out in 45.1 overs. India's upcoming medium pacers, Sandeep Sharma and Ravikant Singh claimed thrre wickets each to aid to the rivals disaster.

As Indian colts came into bat, they had a weird swing of fortunes but stabilized in the end. Indian batsmen Vijay Zol (36) and Baba Aparajith (51) did make a big difference as the openers stumbled with meek scores. Again in the end it was last wicket pair of Harmeet Singh and Sandeep Sharma clinched the match in their favour.
