India's Saina reigns supreme at Indonesia

Indian ace shuttler Saina Nehwal reigns supreme by defeating her Chinese counterpart Xuerui Li in a see-saw summit clash in Jakarta on Sunday. The Indian acer who just won the Thailand opens shuttle badminton tournament ius well geared for the forthcoming Olympics. On Sunday the teh Indian player was desperate in grabbing the title with her strenous efforts. She beats her rival by  13-21 22-20 21-19 in an hour and four minutes to lift her third title of the year. In teh initial games the Indian player was thouroughly out smarted by Li. But later in the second set  Saina trounced back and from then it was no looking back for the Indian. The gruesome duel for the women's singles at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno Stadium exibited the prowess for the Indian.

"It was a really, really tough and I love the crowd here. It's really nice here. Whenever I enter the court, I feel like a champion here," said the world number five 22-year-old, who has earlier clinched the title in 2009 and 2010. the match and the rival were both drteaded by the Indian in the prematch analysis, as she lost on four of the five encounters till today with Li. And her last win against Li was in 2010, too much of a time.

The lady stands tall in the singles shuttle badminto segement in the Asian segement and is presently ranked number five. Her good form kindles hope in the Indian fans and could garner gold at the London Olympics.  (With inputs from internet-AarKay)
