Philanthropic side of the Oz players

The Australian team had a day off on Thursday and visited a children hospital. All the way they entertained the sick children with their tickly actions.

The Philanthropic side of Team Australia emerged bright on Thursday when the team visited a sick children hospital in Sydney. Dressed as clowns they were hilarious and entertaining the children in the hospital.

Dressed in clown gear, David Warner was joined by team-mates David Hussey, Peter Forrest and Clint McKay, who entertained young patients at the hospital. "It's a good opportunity for myself and a few other guys to come here and put some smiles on the kids faces. Dressing up in some clown outfits is fantastic. I don't have a favorite clown," The Herald Sun quoted Warner, as saying.

Participating for publicity was different and participating whole heartedly shows the philanthropic side of a person. That’s what happened on Thursday. All of them were spontaneous and genuine in their approach. The children must have enjoyed every moment of their stay at the hospital. For most they would have been the heroes of the kids, who were entertained.  (With inputs from internet: AarKay)
