T T wins over Nashua Cape Cobras in Champions leagueA fantastic cameo by Kevon Cooper led Trinidad & Tobago to a crucial two-wicket victory over the Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras in their crunch Nokia Champions League match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday.

The otherwise lost match was out played by Kevon Cooper to a fantastic thriller and poora paisa vasool to the spectacular audience in this Cricket crazy city.

Initially Cape Cobras won the toss and elected to bat. They made a good score fit for a T20 and closed on at 137 runs in the twenty overs after losing just 4 wickets. The batting prowess of DJ Vilas knocking 54 runs and OA Shah smashing 63 runs was worth watching. The bowling attack by the T&T was good with the four main bowlers sharing a wicket each Badree, Rampaul, Narine and Cooper sharing a wicket each.

In reply T&T wound up the match in 19.4 overs and posted a win against the Cobras. The batting highlights were Bravo with 29 runs and Ramdin with 24 runs.
