BlackBerry Playbook 4G to be launched by the end of the month

BlackBerry, a product of Reasearch in Motion, had early into this year claimed that they would release the 4G version of the Playbook. A website, Mobilesyrup had said on his website that they would release the Playbook on 31st July. It also speculated that the price would be around $549.95 or Rs 32,199 approximately. Mobilesyrup has claimed that their source was the Canadian Mobile service provider, Bell.

The Playbook 4G is proposed to be fully cellular capable allowing users to make calls via 2G services from the mobile service providers. This 7 inch beast has been upgraded to a 1.5Ghz monster of a dual core processor while it is said that the graphic processor would also be upgraded considerably. The display features didn't boast of any changes though with the same 1024 x 600 resolution.
It allows users to capture 1080p Full HD videos with the 5MP camera on the real and a powerful 3MP camera on the front would allow them to engage in voice calls via the 3G or 4G services or third party online services such as Skype. Multiple variants are available from 32GB or in 64GB.

The LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology would allow users to connect to the internet at unbelievably faster speeds.

However, those interested to buy in India would have to wait a month or a couple more as it is expected to be release in August or September. The final release date in India is yet to be confirmed by BlackBerry India.
