India Registers A Victory By 2 Wickets Against West Indies:- Team India is touring in West Indies and the first ODI took place last evening in Queen's Park Oval. West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first. West Indies scored 311 for the loss of 6 wickets in their 50 overs. Shai Hope (115), Nicholas Pooran (74) and Kyle Mayers (39) are the top scorers for the side and contributed their part for the team. Shardul Thakur (3/54), Axar Patel (1/40) and Deepak Hooda (1/42) took the wickets among the Indian bowlers. After a strong play with the bat, West Indies wanted to dominate with the ball.

Team India never felt the pressure and completed the chase with two wickets left. Team India completed the chase in 49.4 overs. Axar Patel (64 not out), Shreyas Iyer (63) and Sanju Samson (54) made India complete the chase on a comfortable note. India scored 312 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Alzarri Joseph (2/46), Kyle Mayers (2/48) and Jayden Seales (1/40) took the wickets among the West Indies bowlers. Axar Patel has been named as the Player of the Match for his all-round performance. The final ODI between India and West Indies will take place on July 27th (Wednesday). India is leading the 3 matches series by 2-0. India will also play 5 T20s with West Indies.
