Third Test: Strong comeback for Indian batsmen in the second innings:- Team India had a disastrous start in the first innings of their third test with England. After winning the toss, India elected to bat and tumbled down for 78. England reported a strong reply and went all out for 432 in their first innings. In their second innings, India reported strong numbers though England has fair chances to end up victorious. On the third day, Indian batsmen stood strong and scored 215 for the loss of 2 wickets. India lost Rohit Sharma (59) and KL Rahul (8) in their second innings. Cheteshwar Pujara (91 not out) and Virat Kohli (45 not out) are in the crease by the end of the third day.

All the Indian batsmen should contribute well to the batting side to save from the loss. Ollie Robinson and Craig Overton took each wicket for the English side. Before this, England scored 432 in their first innings. Rory Joseph Burns (61), Haseeb Hameed (68), David Malan (70), Joe Root (121) were the top scorers for the English side and they contributed well. Mohammed Shami (4/95), Jasprit Bumrah (2/59), Mohammed Siraj (2/86) and Ravindra Jadeja (2/88) took the wickets of the English batsmen. The fourth day of the match is quite crucial for the Indian batsmen. India is leading the test series with 1-0 out of the 5 test match series.
