India's sweet revenge in the Second T20 against England:- After a disastrous defeat in the first T20 international, Team India is back with a bang in the second T20 that took place in Ahmedabad last night. India won the toss and decided to bowl first. English batsmen were quite dominant and the team made 164 for the loss of six wickets. Jason Roy (46), Eoin Morgan (28) and Ben Stokes (21) are the top scorers for the side. Washington Sundar (2/29), Shardul Thakur (2/29) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/28) are decent among the Indian bowlers. Chasing 165, Indian batsmen reported in style and completed the target in 17.5 overs.
Debutant Ishan Kishan (56) played a remarkable innings for the side. Indian captain Virat Kohli (73 not out) took the team for an easy victory. Rishabh Pant (26) too contributed his part for the team. Sam Curran (1/22), Chris Jordan (1/38) and Adil Rashid (1/38) got the decent numbers among the English bowlers. India levels the T20 series by 1-1. Ishan Kishan is named as the Player of the Match. The third T20 will take place tomorrow out of the 5 matches in the series. The match too will be held in Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Indian skipper Virat Kohli becomes the first Indian batsman to reach 3000 runs in T20 international cricket.
