Legendary Australian Cricketer Dean Jones Dies of Cardiac Arrest:- Legendary Australian cricketer Dean Jones died of a massive heart attack today in Mumbai. He is currently apart of the Star Sports commentary team and is working for IPL 2020 from Mumbai. The 59-year-old cricketer has been working from a seven star hotel in Mumbai for IPL 2020. He is an active analyst and he signed a contract to do off-tube commeentary for the Indian Premier League which is currently happening in UAE. His show 'Prof Deano' is quite popular on NDTV and Dean Jones is quite popular across the Indian sport circles.

Dean Jones played 52 test matches in his career and scored 3631 runs with an average of 46.55. His best score is said to be 216 and scored 11 test centuries. Dean Jones also played 164 one-day internationals and scored 6068 runs with seven centuries and 46 half-centuries. Star India issued an official statement that said "It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing away of Mr. Dean Mervyn Jones AM. He died of a sudden cardiac arrest. We express our deep condolences to his family and stand ready to support them in this difficult time. We are in touch with the Australian High Commission to make the necessary arrangements". He suffered heart attack at 12 PM today in his hotel room. His mortal remains will soon be sent to Australia.
