Team India Registers A Thrilling Victory Against Australia:- After a decent victory in the first ODI against Australia, Team India continued to stun and surprise them. The second one-day-international took place in Vidarbha Cricket Association stadium last evening. India lost the toss and they have been asked to bat first. India went all out for 250 in 48.2 overs after Virat Kohli scored his 40th century in ODIs. He scored 11 (120 balls) and Vijay Shankar (46) supported Kohli well. None of the Indian batsmen could stand before the pace of Australian bowlers.
Pat Cummins (4/29) and Adam Zampa (2/62) made the damage to the Indian batting order with the ball. Chasing 251, Australian batsmen fell short of the target and scored 242 in the thrilling match. Marcus Stoinis (52), Peter Handscomb (48), Usman Khawaja (38) and Aaron Finch (37) contributed their part but could not take their team to end up victorious. Kuldeep Yadav (3/54), Vijay Shankar (2/15) and Jasprit Burmah (2/29) did their job with the ball. India is now leading with 2-0 in the five one-day series. The third ODI will take place on March 8th.
