Asia Cup 2018: India Beats Hong Kong By 26 Runs:- Team India opens Asia Cup 2018 on a positive note after being shattered with back to back defeats in England tour. In their first one day with Hong Kong, India scored 285/7 in 50 overs. Hong Kong managed to be consistent and they made 259/8 in 50 overs. India won by 26 runs and started the series on a positive note. Shikar Dhawan scored 127 runs from 120 balls and Ambati Rayudu supported with his 60 runs. Dinesh Karthik (33), Rohit Sharma (23) and Kedar Jadhav (28) have been decent with their bat. Kinchit Shah (3/39) and Ehsan Khan (2/65) managed to take wickets from Hong Kong.

With 286 target, Hong Kong opened with a bang and they looked super strong. Openers Nizakat Khan (92) and Anshuman Rath (73) have been flawless with the bat and attached over hundred runs for the first wicket. However things changed after they lost their wickets and Indian bowlers dominated with the ball. Khaleel Ahmed (3/48) and Yuzvendra Chahal (3/46) have been decent with the ball. India will face Pakistan in their next match in the Asia Cup today.
