Before one could forget this, Rohit Sharma created one more world record in T20s against Srilanka. The stand-in captain of India managed to score the fastest century in T20s till date. Rohit Sharma achieved it in just 35 balls which is huge and surprising. He managed to score boundaries almost and India managed to score 260 for the loss of 5 wickets in the second T20.

Srilanka chasing the a huge target fell flat and ended up scoring 172 all out in 17.2 overs. Rohit Sharma scored 118 runs in 43 balls and KL Rahul supported him with 89 runs. India lost four wickets in the last two overs when they were in the mood of scoring massive runs. Rohit Sharma has been awarded as the man of the match in this Indore T20 for his brilliant ton. India already won the series by 2-0. Rohit Sharma has been in excellent form in the season and his teammates lauded his abilities.
