India ‘A’ wins in 3rd ODI, wins series 2-1

Bangladesh ‘A’ lost the 3rd match by 75 runs (D/L) to their Indian counterpart, after rain disturbed the match.

While chasing a target of 298 in the second innings 32nd over, With 141 on board, Bangladesh ‘A’ were 6 down.

Unmukt, India ‘A’ skipper, won the toss and decided to bat first in the match which decides the series.

India put on 297-6 standing on Raina’s 94-ball 104 and Samson’s well made 90. The skipper scored 41 runs, after Agarwal was bowled by Shafiul early.  

On partnership, Samson made 82 runs, Raina joined him and added 116 runs between them. In process to score 297, India ‘A’ scored 83 runs in the last 9 overs.

At the beginning of their innings itself, Bangladesh lost Soumya and Anamul with just 4 runs and then and there, it lost the track.

Even the top order failed in building any partnership and left the team cramping. Rony Talukder failed the third consecutive time in the series and was dismissed for 9 runs.

But Captain Mominul and Liton were did their best on the field and built up a good partnership, but they could not escape from Kuldeep, after  3rd over.  

Sharma bowled Nasir for 22. Finally, as the last batsman, Sabbir Rahman continued to bat and stood as not out at 41 runs, and the match was stopped after the 32nd over, due to the heavy rain.
     
With the loss, Bangladesh ‘A’ lost the 3-match series to India ‘A’ 2-1. The further  matches of the tour are 2 3-day matches, out of which, 1 is with Karnataka at Mysore on September 22nd and another with India ‘A’ at Bengaluru on September 27th.
