Vice President Venkaiah Naidu Reviews Coronavirus Lockdown:- Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu in a statement said that he would prefer the health of the people than the stabilization of the economy. He said that the economical concerns can wait but the health of the people and their lives will not return back. Venkaiah Naidu said that the next week of lockdown is quite crucial and he requested everyone to stay safe at home rather than coming out into the public. Venkaiah Naidu also said that it would be good if the lockdown is extended as the country should turn completely free from coronavirus. "Two weeks of lockdown is successfully completed. I thought I should reach out to the people and share my views on the current situations. People have been quite supportive and it would be good if they continue to be disciplined. The next one week of lockdown is quite crucial for everyone. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come out with the best possible solution for lockdown. The Centre is already in talks with the Chief Ministers of all the states" said Venkaiah Naidu.

Experts Say Centre May Extend Lockdown After April 14th:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a lockdown of 21 days and it would end up on April 14th. The number of coronavirus positive cases got increased in all the states from the past one week and coronavirus is fast spreading. Experts predict that the Centre may extend the lockdown after April 14th considering the current situations. Right before this, Telangana Chief Minister KCR said that he would request Narendra Modi to extend the lockdown period as it is the only weapon to fight against coronavirus. Several top officials of government hinted that the lockdown will continue till the end of this month. India Responds To Trump's Comments On Retaliation:- Donald Trump, the President of the United States warned India of retaliation if the drug of anti-malaria, hydroxychloroquine is not supplied to the United States. Soon, India responded saying that it would supply the essential drugs for all the neighboring countries of the globe in this tough situation of coronavirus. Anurag Srivastava, the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs said "The essential drugs to some nations will be supplied. We discourage any speculation about this and please do not politicize the matter. Hydroxychloroquine and paracetamol will be supplied to all the neighboring countries which are dependant on India". In the humanitarian aspect, India would continue to supply the needed drugs. India will license paracetamol and HCQ in the needed quantities to all the neighboring countries said, Srivastava. India also said that the domestic requirements happen to be their primary requirement and the rest would be sent for the needed countries. "The Indian government is quite responsible and our first obligation happens to be the people of our country. We wanted adequate stocks for us after which we decided to export" said Srivastava. KCR Urges Modi For Lockdown Extension:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) met the press to reveal about the updates of coronavirus in Telangana. KCR during his speech requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend the lockdown to get things into control. The three-week lockdown comes to an end by April 14th and KCR urged Modi to extend the lockdown for at least two more weeks. "We can recover from economic crisis but we cannot recover if we lose our lives. Lockdown is the only weapon with us to fight against coronavirus. The lockdown is having a huge impact all over the society" said KCR. Telangana state witnessed 30 new cases of coronavirus in Telangana and the total number of cases reached 364. The death toll in the state reached 11. KCR said that the officials identified 1089 returnees from the Tablighi Jamaat event and it is traced that 35 people are still in Delhi and are expected to be in quarantine. Telangana government identified 25,937 foreign returnees. A head constable based in Hyderabad is the first one from the police department to be tested positive with coronavirus.
