Mahindra and Mahindra has just launched their much-awaited model Bolero Power + which possesses the mHawkD70 engine that can deliver 13 per cent more power and 5 per cent more mileage as compared to the existing Bolero. Moreover, the engine can produce 70bhp with a peak torque of 195Nm.
The new Mahindra Bolero power + has come up with three variants SLE, SLX, and ZLX. With this new engine, the manufacturer claimed that the car will become peppier to drive and operate easily by the rider but the interior part has remained same as its ancestors.
Mr Pravin Shah, President & Chief Executive (Automotive), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd conveyed that with this new model along with the new engine the company wants to create a better value proposition so that the car can easily get attracted by the customers. Bolero has been the India's no 1 SUV during the last ten years now with its new model, the company wants to improve its market position and is aiming to conquer its competitors.
The company is also planning to integrate some features like a digital instrument cluster, a Driver Information System (DIS), a voice messaging system, and the fuel-saving Micro Hybrid technology (ZLX) into the new Bolero Power +.
The price of the car is scheduled near about Rs.6.59 lakhs.
