Forensic Reports Trace Liquor in Disha's Body:- The rape and murder incident of Disha created a sensation across the country. The four accused have been arrested and encountered soon when they tried to escape from the spot. The postmortem forensic toxicology report said that there are traces of alcohol in her body. The cops submitted the report to the court in which this was mentioned. The suspects forced Disha to consume liquor when they raped her on November 27th at Tondupally toll plaza. The liver tissue of the veterinary doctor contained alcohol said the reports. A police official said that she was nabbed by the culprits on November 27th night and was forcibly made to consume liquor. The cops also said that the FSL reports confirmed the seminal stains of the accused on the scarf and undergarment of the victim. Mohammed Areef, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Ch Chennakesavulu were arrested and encountered. The cops will file a charge sheet before the court once the entire investigation is completed. CAB Row: Violence Continues in Northeastern States:- Right after the Citizenship Amendment Bill was passed in the Parliament, violence triggered across the northeastern states of the country. The situations have been worse over Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal and Delhi as there are massive protests against the bill. The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs had to postpone its trip and there are protests against Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Assam is witnessing one of the most violent protests by the people in its history. Several public properties are being set ablaze and several railway stations, bus stands and banks are totally damaged. Three people have been killed in these protests. In Meghalaya, there are protests against Governor's nod. 25 people got injured near Raj Bhavan. During the clash, the police baton-charged the protesters and fired tear gas shells. There are protests across West Bengal seeking immediate revocation of the law. There are protests over rural Howrah, Murshidabad, Birbhum, parts of Burdwan and North Bengal. On Friday, thousands of protestors reached Jantar Mantar against the Citizenship Amendment Bill.

AP Assembly Passes Bill for Death to Rapists:- The Andhra Pradesh Assembly yesterday passed the bill for death to rapists in the house unanimously. The death penalty will be awarded for the rapists after the culprit is proved accused. The other bill passed awards stringent punishment for other sexual offenses against women. Named as Disha Bill 2019, AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that fast track courts will be set up to serve the judgment at the earliest. The judgment period too has been reduced to 21 days. It was four months' time for judgment as per Nirbhaya Act, 2013 and Criminal Amendment Act, 2018. The investigation should be completed in seven days and the trial process should be completed in the next 14 days. YS Jagan said that he was completely left shattered with Disha incident and decided to take stringent action on all those who commit crimes against women. TDP leaders too supported the bill and it was passed unanimously in AP Assembly.

War of Words in AP Assembly:- The winter sessions of Andhra Pradesh Assembly started on Monday and the situations have been quite tensed. War of words are exchanged between the leading YSRCP and the opposition TDP from the past four days. TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu supported the introduction of Disha bill in the house but he reminded about the cases registered against YSRCP leaders in the ADR report. He also said that Kodali Nani lost his control in the recent days and has been making unusual comments on TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu. The Andhra Pradesh High Court issued orders asking CBI to complete the investigation at the earliest and submit a detailed report. Satyam Babu who was arrested in the case was announced innocent last year and he was left free. Several petitions have been filed in High Court after which the court asked CBI to take up the case. Ayesha Meera was murdered in December 2007 in a private hostel in Ibrahimpatnam, Vijayawada. Satyam Babu was arrested in the case and he was announced innocent on March 31st 2017.

Forensic Lab Submits the DNA Report of Disha:- The brutal rape and murder of veterinary doctor Disha left the country in shock. She was burnt alive near Chatanpally, Hyderabad by four youngsters. The experts from Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) collected all the needed things from the charred body of Disha. The DNA of the sternum bone of Disha matched with her parents. The experts collected her sternum bone to trace Disha. The FSL of Telangana submitted the DNA analysis to the investigators. The semen samples collected from the undergarment and scarf of Disha too matched with the DNA of the four accused. The Forensic Report proved that all the four accused Mohammed Arif, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Ch Chennakeshvulu sexually assaulted Disha and murdered her. The Telangana cops are now in plans to speed up the investigation and submit a detailed report to the court. All the four accused were shot dead on December 6th in an encounter when the cops took them for investigation.
