AIDS remedy lost in plane crash?

Joep Lange, a world-renowned researcher and former president of the International Aids Society died in the Malaysian Airlines MH 17 crash which brings fears that the world has lost the remedy for AIDS. Lange along with a group of 100 doctors are on board who are heading to the global Aids 2014 conference in Melbourne, Australia.

Trevor Stratton, a Canadian researcher suspected that the research team was carrying a vaccine against AIDS and he doubted whether the remedy was on the plane and added he don't know! Stratton confirmed that the plane was carrying prominent researchers who were working on the vaccine for very long time.

A HIV researcher Clive Aspin added that it was a huge loss and claimed that the research team traveling is one of the best and brightest who have dedicated their whole career in fighting against this deadly virus.
