An Indian national who went to Uganda to earn his bread and butter was turned down to ashes. While the workers at the spot said that miscreants splashed petrol on Rajender (deceased) and burnt him alive, the owner of the company said he had committed suicide.  Rajender belonged to Bandlaguda area in Nagole of Hyderabad. He got an opportunity to visit Kampala as one of his close associates offered him employment at a borewell company.

The brother of the deceased has said that his brother was not timid to kill himself. The death news sent shock waves among the family members. They were unable to digest that Rajender was no more as he spoke to them on telephone minutes before he died.
