American Telugu Association (ATA) is all set to host the 12th ATA Convention and Youth Conference from July 6 to July 8 at Atlanta. ATA has invited all Telugu people living in the United States to take part in the programme. The convention would include several cultural programmes such as singing competitions, dance competitions, ballads and even poem reciting.

Several guests are going to take part in ATA Convention and music director Taman is going to be the special attraction. The inaugural function would be comprise of contemporary music and dance programmes. There are two cultural sessions that will be held in the afternoon on July 7 and 8. The sessions include skits, monologues, short plays, mimicry and ventriloquism.

The special attraction of the convention is Pasidi Poornima, a Kuchipudi ballad.  Music director Taman would add special colours to the event with his troop in a musical night—Taaralu Digi Vachchina Vela!

All in all, ATA convention has become a topic to the town not just in US but across the globe. With people wrapped up in unknown tensions that busy mechanical life offers, such conventions will not only preserve the culture but will life the spirits of the Telugu brother and sisters in America.
