Cyber espionage by hackers on the prowl

A tactical ploy by seasoned hackers seems to on the prowl reveal internet security researchers. However these hackers are targeting highly traffic sites and laying virus traps. Theses traps get into the users system while browsing the public sites and settle in the users computers. They later send out messages about the precious contents of the system.

Premier security experts Shadowserver Foundation, who forewarn about the danger claim on Tuesday in San Fransico that many public dominated domains like Amnesty International Hong Kong, the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the US Center for Defense Information (CDI) remained, rigged to slip "hostile" code onto visitors' computers.

What the attackers want:
“These attackers are not spreading malware through strategically compromised websites to make friends. They are aiming to expand their access and steal data,” say researchers Steven Adair and Ned Moran. The gang is after precious data like messages, intellectual property, research, and business intelligence such as contracts and negotiations, according to security specialists.
