Bengal Warriors Lost To Jaipur Pink Panthers by 33-36 In A Thriller

Despite putting extensive efforts in a close game, Bengal warriors got beaten by Jaipur Pink Panthers by 33-36 scoreline at Match 12 of the fourth season of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Friday. Jaipur Pink Panthers have now reached the second spot after Puneri Paltan with both the teams having 14 points and Bengal Warriors are at 6th with bagging seven points, at the points table.
 
Jasvir Singh scored 13 raid points while Shabeer Bappu who performed exceptionally well in the defense proved useful in offense as well as he scored few crucial raid points for the team. The win has remained Panthers unbeaten at home.

Warriors had to wait till the third minute of the second half to take the four-point lead. But their lead overtook by Jasvir who again scored a point. The game was tied at 21-21 with 10 minutes remaining in the game to complete but Panthers made an all out and took the score to 29-24. However, Warriors countered brilliantly and leveled the score again at six minuted were to go to finish the game.

In first half, Manu Goayat from Bengal Warriors scored two consecutive raid points to level the score 3-3 against panthers. Both the teams were playing brilliantly as the lead was going back and forth. In 14th minute of the first half Jasvir scored an important point and Panthers quickly cemented the score with scoring a super tackle. This helped Jaipur Pink Panthers to take a close lead of 17-16 at the mid-way.

Shabeer Bapu scored an important bonus point when only 90 second were remaining in the game and Panthers again scored a super tackle, resulting into the 33-31 lead. Panthers again scores few more points to cement the final tally and confirm the victory.
