Maruti Suzuki is allegedly wanting to dispatch the Ignis hatchback hybrid in India on January 13, 2016. The organization hasn't yet authoritatively reported the dispatch date.
Ignis will be sold through Nexa dealerships, and will in this way impart showroom space to the Baleno and the S-Cross.
The inside is a crisp take for a Maruti/Suzuki, featuring a new steering wheel, infotainment system (with a floating screen) and new switchgear. SmartPlay system which has support for both Android Auto and Apple Car Play and LED daytime running lamps are features expected to be present in higher variants.
Powering the Maruti Ignis is the familiar 1.2 litre K-series petrol which is capable of producing 84.3 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque. The diesel variant is expected to use the 1.3 litre DDiS mill doing duty in most Maruti cars in India, producing 75 PS of maximum power and 190 Nm of peak torque.
The Maruti Ignis will be sold in India through the Nexa scope of premium dealerships. It is required to space in underneath the Swift, replacing the Maruti Ritz.
