99% Of The Demonetised Notes Are Back With RBI

99% Of The Demonetised Notes Are Back With RBI:- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced that over 99% of the demonetised notes are now back with them. Rs 15.3 lakh crores which have been taken out for circulation through demonetisation during November 2016 returned back to RBI by Wednesday. The annual report of 2017-18 revealed that Rs 15.3 lakh crore scrap notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 have reached them. Rs 15.4 lakh crore worth notes have been brought into circulation on November 8th 2016.

Reserve Bank of India continued keeping efforts after which they could retain 99% of the notes. RBI even revealed that there has been no currency crisis in the country as enough amount of money is under circulation. The total value of SBNs in circulation as on November 8, 2016, post verification and reconciliation, was Rs 15,417.93 billion revealed RBI in a statement.
